site was installed 1999 by ICAR-MEDCOM. It is a
meeting point for mountaineering physicians and rescuers and offers a wide range of
mountain medicine information. The homepage is linked to the most important mountain
medicine organisations of ICAR, UIAA and ISMM and many others. So you can choose from a
lot of different sources in this field. It will be our aim to collect all scientific and
practical data about mountaineering medicine and its medical emergency aspects. Furthermore you will find also on this site the homepage of ICAR-MEDCOM, the Commission for Mountain Emergency Medicine. We intend to keep the pages up to date.
